The Egg Tempera Paintings of Alex Garcia

Egg Tempera Painting Progression

Below is a progression of my current painting. I like to do this once in a while to see the stages. It is very interesting to me and hope it provides some insight into how I work for you as well.

    Alex,

I am an art instructor at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, Wyoming. I teach art history, and am looking for a good visual to show the process of egg tempera painting so that the students can understand the difference between egg and oil as a binder. This image of Little Benji is perfect. Would you give me your permission to use it as an image in a Powerpoint for this purpose? Credit will be given to you on the Powerpoint slide, along with your website address. Thank you,
